January 2010

Welcome to your monthly HR e-newsletter!

Dear HR Professional,

IIR would like to wish you a very happy new year! I must say that this year is already looking positive compared to the general economic difficulties of 2009 and I am certain you will also be looking at many great business ventures in 2010. This year you may need to deal with greater human resource demands . However the hot issue of employee engagement still remains top priority for many companies and HR professionals.

This year has also started with a buzz around the World Cup and its impacts on businesses. I am sure you too are looking forward to the excitement and frenzy as well as all the tourists that will aid our economy. Even though businesses may get positively distracted for a while  I believe the second half of the year will also prove to be fruitful. Make sure you keep up to date with skills development and keep an eye on the upcoming legal amendments that may affect your department.

I wish you all the success in the upcoming 2010. I will be feeding through any exciting HR related news so also keep an eye out for your monthly e-newsletter.

Kind Regards,
