IIR's HR Africa has been running for the past 6 years and has grown to be one of the most prestigious HR events in South Africa. In these years the event has attracted HR professionals from across the African continent. Each year, the event sees 300+ attendees and attracts 40 to 70 expert speakers. The event has also, over the years, allowed for the creation of numerous great partnerships and support from our sponsors, exhibitors as well as media partners. In 2010 HR Africa plans to provide even more exciting developments and offerings for the HR industry!

The 2010 event will run under the name brand The Star HR Summit & Expo (incorporating HRDE) as the event will merge two successful brands in order to grow the exposure and markets participating. The 2010 event will therefore comprise of a 4 day high-level conference and one of the largest, extensive HR, education and training exhibitions in the country, that will take place over 3 days. The event will incorporate the latest HR trends and numerous new features with leading HR speakers.

The HR Summit will continue to attract senior-level directors and HR practitioners from all over Africa to debate urgent issues driving the development of human capital. The exhibition will include numerous new initiatives including an e-Learning Zone, Education and Supplies, Training and Simulation products as well as demonstrations, vendor seminars and workshops.
